A squarish site with a distant view of the sea was a delight. The desire to create different kinds of open spaces created the cross plan with a central court.

Each corner of the land then serviced various activities. The car court. The entrance court. The landscape court, and the service court.

The central courtyard brought in light and from bedrooms you had Jharokha kind of windows looking down. It was a joy working on this during our early part of our practice.

The house though has been demolished because of vasthu issues many years after it was occupied!!!
