Having done numerous schools across the country this one was a challenge. A first school for us in chennai. A small land parcel for 2000 children.

The desire of the client to have a large open space in front forced the double loaded L shaped plan.

Attempt to make some of the spaces interesting and also have ventilation in the corridors was a challenge.

The need to use the terrace for a modicum of play area helped in creating a new language for the skin and also create a sense of awe.
